In January of 2017, after over 20 years of ministry in central Canada, the Lord miraculously called Pastor Sean Ward and his family to serve in Prince Edward Island.

Sean has served the Central Canadian District UPCI on the Youth Committee, as Men’s Ministry Director, Sunday School Director, Purpose Institute Instructor and Presbyter while evangelizing in northern Canada, the USA and overseas. 

 Sean married his prairie flower Rosanne in June of 1994 and today they are the proud parents of Joshua, Rachel & John.  Together they retain a deep passion for ministry training and for multicultural and music ministry! 

On beautiful Matheson Street the Ward’s now reside to serve the saints and communities of Summerside and Alberton on “the gentle island”!

Matt McNair and Naomi McNair joined the staff at Summerside United Pentecostal Church in March 2012 to serve as Youth Pastors. 

After graduating from Northeast Christian college in 2007, they married in 2008 and served as Youth Pastors at New Life United Pentecostal Church in Blackville, New Brunswick. Matt has also served in various capacities with the Youth Department of the Atlantic District United Pentecostal Church. 

They are proud parents to their daughter Audrey and their puppy Frannie.

Sis Cindy Aalbers has served as Secretary-Treasurer of Summerside UPC since January 2008.

Cindy is a graduate of Northeast Christian College and Compu College School of Business, studying Executive Secretary. Cindy thoroughly enjoys her work and serving in this ministry.

Cindy is married to Richard and they are the proud parents of Jared, Anthony, Emily, & Diana
